We here at MCB have been moving along steadily, and wanted to share some updates.

First, The Atherton Pack books will start rereleasing in July. Yay! The first two books have only minor edit changes while Corey (the third book) will be expanded. And once those are done, Toni can start working on her series again. The Silver fiasco left many an author in a difficult spot and we were glad that we could help Toni out of it. Now that she has gotten most of her rereleases worked out, we look forward to future Smokey Mountain Bears, Hounds of Hell, Borillian Twist and, of course, more The Atherton Pack for readers to enjoy.

Second, Andi Anderson (also a Silver Refugee) will be bringing her wonderfully sweet series, The Men of Charlestown, to Mischief Corner Books. We look forward to getting this series back out there for her as well as helping her continue it along with her Sons of Aphrodite Series. We know everyone has been eagerly awaiting the finished Men of Charlestown series and the continuation of the Sons of Aphrodite, and Andi is working furiously to put those books in her readers hands.

Third, we are releasing an omnibus of Angel's Brimstone stories. Readers will be able to get all three stories in one punch. But never fear, Angel doesn't mean to stop the series. Shax and the crew are too much fun. She does, however, have other projects slated that deserve her attention just as much.

And lastly, but not least, we have our first contracted story for the MCB Quarterly. We look forward to sharing more news about our exciting new adventure. We love being able to give a new avenue for writers to share their LGBTQ fiction. if you, and an author you know would like to submit, you can find our guidelines HERE.

The upcoming MCB anthology, Not in the Stars, has a diverse group of stories to share with everyone. For this anthology, the theme was Science Fiction—which is as broad as the stars are many. We have aliens introducing themselves to Earth for the first time, surprise guests showing up at a science fiction convention, a steampunk inspired trip to the moon, and angels and demons voyaging through space (with the usual disastrous results.)

In two weeks, Mischief Corner Anthologies #4 will hit the virtual bookshelves and we hope that you want to take a voyage into the unknown with us. Below we have the concepts and blurbs for each contribution.

Mathilde's story, The Usual Conventions: Unconventional Romances 1, gives "hooking up at SciFi conventions" a whole new spin.

When Chris meets the alien—man—of his dreams, "Ensign Brodeich Geinn" aka actor Brody Gates, it's as one of the coordinators for the first annual Science Fiction Convention in North Carolina. To his delight, Brody seems to return his interest, albeit in typical alien "Brodeich" fashion. Awkward alien or not, Chris is more than willing to play out any sexual fantasy for his SciFi crush, especially when Brody fumbles over the simplest of human conventions.

Freddy's story, Feel Me, takes place in an alternate Earth universe where different fuels drive human endeavors. The main attraction, the Elevator to the Moon Colony.

One terrorist blast changed Master Tobias Zimmer's entire existence, relegating him to being nothing more than just a "Coppies" because of the metal replacing his flesh. As the once future Shogun of moon colony Orion 1, he now idles his time away keeping tabs on the Loyalists while his father and brother broker negotiations with the Earth Consortium.

A confrontation with his childhood enemy, Dr. Thorsten Nordenfelt, sets into motion events that cannot be undone and puts Tobias's sheltered heart at the center of the colony's attempts to free itself from the repressive Earth's rule.
 

Lastly, but not least, we have Angel's Shax's War: Brimstone 3. Shax is up to his usual tricks, starting with a game of Trauma Ball and an over the top dinner to show off his Ness. Too bad the games don't stay so simple.

The boys desperately need a vacation. With the not-quite-ill-gotten gains from the Frog incident, Shax takes the Brimstone's crew to the exclusive resort planet, Opal. What could possibly go wrong there?

We are happy to announce that Toni is bringing her Atherton Pack wolves to MCB. We are excited to give this series a new home and are eager to get her books back on the virtual bookshelves for everyone to enjoy.

It is time to celebrate!

Hello, everyone!

We are excited to announce that Freddy, Mathilde, Silvia and Toni were all able to snag at spot at the 2014 GRL Retreat. Angel is currently on the wait list hoping (as we do too) to get in, but no worries, she will join us either as an author or a reader. (Someone has to keep Freddy out of too much trouble ;) ).
