Stuff We Like #39

Hello everyone! Welcome to another week of Stuff We Like with Freddy. I have to admit I was stumped for this week's post. I wasn't sure what I wanted to share about something I like.

The whole time I was having a conversation with Toni & Angel I couldn't think of a thing to write. (ha!) This is particularly amusing because I was conversing with them how I normally do - through Facebook Messenger.

That's when it hit me. FB - despite all its evil - has a tool I love. Messenger. FB itself is something I tolerate because FB Messenger keeps me in contact with my friends. There is hardly a day goes by that I'm not talking to my friends. I may not stay and chat on FB, but I am in constant communication with Angel and Toni (among others.) We live so far apart from each other things like hanging out or having a dinner together just doesn't happen as much as we would want it to.

Talking with them on messenger allows me a substitute (albeit not a perfect t one) for closeness I crave to have with my friends.

So today I won't be complaining about FB. Today I will be thankful that it's there and allows me a brief moment (or five) into my friends lives through messenger every day.
