Stuff We Like #64 - Marvin the Martian

Scott's here to host this week's Stuff We Like - about his favorite Martian.

It was love at first sight.

I must have been five or six when I first happened upon Marvin. I was too young to know that he made no sense whatsoever - an extra terrestrial in white sneakers, a green tutu, and a Roman-inspired helmet that looked like it was topped by a bathroom scrub brush.

But none of that mattered to me. When he opened his mouth and that little squeaky voice came out, I was his.

Looking back, I have to wonder if, in my heart, I suspected he was like me.

I have a little mini Marvin on my desk top - he's a flash drive, but I haven't put anything on him. Mostly I just enjoy having him here.
