Stuff we Like #7 - A little exercise never killed anyone.

Hey Everyone, thanks Angel for taking my place last week. It would not have been fun trying to complete a blog post from my phone as that was the only source of communication I had.

The move is complete but before I could finish unpacking I decided it was a good idea to go on holiday. So here I am in far north Queensland, about a 20 minute drive from Atherton, and yes, I have already dropped in to check on the pack, Everyone is doing great, Ben and Tommy send their best and Declan was in the middle of cooking up a storm getting ready for Christmas.

Enough about them though, now, it may have been mentioned that I should talk about snow. Seeing as I've only experienced snow twice in my life, and the second time was only very tiny amounts I didn't think that would be wise, so instead I'm here to talk about what I do every morning while I'm here. I go for a walk, taking Charlie, my parent's beautiful Golden Retriever cross Labrador with me. Unfortunately due to the terrain around their property my folk are no longer able to take her for daily walks, so she's been loving getting out with me every morning. I don't walk at home as I visit the gym and walk on the treadmills there, but with the scenery here how could you not get up with the sun and go for a walk. I love the landscapes, the sounds of the cows mooing and the scent of the breeze as it flows over the hills. Just stunning.

I thought I would share some of these with you today so you too might enjoy a little of the heaven I've been experiencing the past few days.

And seeing as how it's Christmas leave a comment to win either a $10 amazon voucher or $10 at our redbubble store. Simply let me know where you consider to be a slice of heaven.

Central Coast NSW is the place I call a slice of heaven

I find a slice of heaven in an island called Kauai, an island of Hawaii. It's a small town feel and it's very peaceful. There's something about the air in Hawaii that is just relaxing in a way I can't find anywhere else.

My aunt and uncle used to own a lovely house in the countryside in Lincolnshire we visited them every holiday it was so peaceful there and it was wonderful to breathe in the country air. We also used to walk the dogs for miles in the countryside and around the village where they lived it was heavenly so quiet and relaxing.
